MAKE UP AND ITS WORTH

All of us somewhere along the line have been cajoled into purchasing outrageously expensive cosmetics.

Research has shown most woman are spending ridiculous amounts of money each year on make up alone. Spending anything from a $40 lipstick to a $99 mascara. This shows us just how easy it all adds up, Plus now the addon’s of brushes and applicators. Long are the days of receiving these tools as a bonus with your purchase.

Don’t get me wrong some of these “premium products” are amazing but my question is, how many of them work exactly the same way as you cheaper ranges? Most can be substituted for a more affordable brand giving you the same look and quality.

These high-end products cost us for a reason and mostly not for their ingredients, the scary thing is that over the years the price of ingredients have not gone up but our demand for cosmetics have and the more expensive the better the product, right? Not always the way.    

The reason these brands are well known is due too marketing, packaging, branding, advertising, the list goes on and all at our expense. It cost brands big bucks to put on a show and sell these items and there is nothing more inviting then a nice department store, great lighting, over friendly shop assistances and all that comes at a price. There are so many brands that can’t get their foot in these doors due to the expensive outlay and the sad thing is that they are just as an amazing product.

To Help you and your pocket there is no need to buy the entire range from one brand also Do your research and shop around. Ingredients are your most important factor, as long as the product will work well for you and you skin.

Never assume something is better due to its High coast. High-end or discount store, the biggest difference between the both is mostly the price you are willing to pay.
