We have seen kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid and DJ Havan Brown rock the 90’s hairdo and now more and more are embracing the classic sleek do with that standout sweeping fringe.
Watching the AFL Brownlow, on the red carpet we see the beautiful Ana Calle displaying how to carry out this look with a slick bun.
A few tools and tips on how to achieve this look.
- Using the right equipment - Straightening iron, boar bristle brush, teasing comb, teasing brush, volume powder and hair spray.
- Setting your foundation to start off with, will help you achieve the sleekest look - Starting off with a straight blow way and followed by straightening from the roots. Then take out a triangle section for the fringe, that way you can sweep it left or right.
- Using your brushes and combs you can then smooth out your sections and place them as needed, if doing a half up or bun – making sure leaving the fringe section out for the final touch.
- Once hair is up and in place smooth over all those little flyways with your teasing comb (or any bora comb/ toothbrush) and of course using a hairspray or gel to help settle those little hairs.
- For the finally touch, straighten the hair (if doing a half up or ponytail) with a tuck at the ends taking it from ordinary to extortionary giving it that real 90’s feel. Then positioning the fringe in place to finish of this timeless look.
